I drew this picture yesterday, but it's only in Chinese, sorry about that. XD

I got the idea from "Shadow of the colossus". This is an adventurous story about a bear called "Xióng Dá" and a cute lion called "Yǎo Ròu Ròu", they are good partners and having an tour which is full of difficult tasks. I've drawn two pages so far, and I'll keep drawing the following pages. The story is cute and fun, you will like it. ;)

My weak parts

Well, althought I've already gone to upper-intermediate class, there're still lots of words I don't know, lots of things I can't tell, and lots of sentences I don't understand!

Yestarday in school we talked about sports, I rarely could say anything in class, I even couldn't say these varied sports' names. All the sport languages, like rules, peoples' positions, fields, spesific terms, their clothes and equipments.... a lot of things I don't know! I used to play basketball when I was a junior hight school student, then I've never played any kinds of sports until now. Most of the terms about basketball I've already forgotten, and the rest terms I only know in mandarin. Even other sports! Therefore, I couldn't say anything durign my class. Although Victor gave me chance to say something, I could only say "I don't know the game." That's really really bad!

What's more is about worldwide knowledges. I don't know famous peoples' names, no matter ancient famous people or modern, I just don't know them! I also don't know significant events in neither eastern nor western history. Of course I studied it in my school before, but I just couldn't remember it. So when we talked about "Neil Armstrong", I only knew his name and he is the first man steped on the moon. When we talked about "Nelson Mandela", I totally didn't know who he is! "Magaret Thatcher" "......I don't know who she is!" etc...... That's too bad!!!

Also Taiwan's food, British laws, so many things I want to chat with my classmates.... Ahhh....
I know it takes time, I'll be more patient to learn and learn harder! Because I have too many weak parts!!

My rough Friday

Last Friday (23th Jan) I didn't go to school, and I have to say that the reason was a bit stupid. It was because of my rice cooker. Before I start the story, I want to introduce my rice cooker. It is small and cute, and has bright red color in its columned body. In the front are two buttons, the upper one is for warming up, and the other is for cooking. Becides, there is an indicator light in the upper left side, and the lid is silver.

I bought that rice cooker last Thursday, and on the following day I used it to cook our lunch. The indicator light turned on when it is on; surely when it finished cooking, the light turned off. I took out the rice, added curry sauce, and packed it well. Just before I went out, I thought of that maybe I should pull out the plug althought the light was off, but I didn't do it at last then I went out to the tube.

25 minutes later the tube arriveded Stockwell Station. I suddenly remembered an important thing, that is the rice cooker seemed to become "warming up" mode automatically after cooking! Because in my parents' house, we have a rice cooker, too. I used it several times before, but it was too long ago to remember. I soon became nervous, and worried about my rice cooker and my flat. It could still be turned on at that time if it were exactly what I thought. Finally, I went out at Kennington Station, which is three stops before my destination, and called the seller. I ask her if the rice cooker would become "warming up" mode automatically after cooking, she answered "Yes." I quickly asked her if I needed to add water in the pot during warming up, she said "No." I asked her again "Would you usually pull out the plug after using the cooker?" She answered "Yes, that would be better. You could avoid the rice cooker keeping warming up for nothing." I said "Thank you very much!" to her and soon called Tim, told him I couldn't go in time. I had to go back as soon as possible. He told me it was alright, and wish I took it easy.

But actually I couldn't take it easy, I was so nervous at that time, and even getting more nervous as time went by. "Why was the tube so slow!?" I repeated it in my mind. It was the slowest tube I've taken. I couldn't stop imaging that when I arrived home, I might see a big smoke in my kitchen. Oh, my heart beat very loudly.

When I left the station, another 30 minutes had passed. I want to ran home but our lunch I carried was so heavy that I couldn't run far. When I got home, I was so delighted that my flat was perfectly safe! I pulled the plug out and fell on my couch. My feet and my arms were all very sore. I was extremely exhausted like a flat balloon. I called Tim and told him our flat was fine, and I couldn't help start crying on the phone. Tim wanted me to stay at home to calm down, maybe sleep for a while, and I really need it, so at last I didn't go to school.

It would've been the stupidest thing I've done if I'd burned my house that day, because that was the first day I used the rice cooker and also the first day I owned it. And we can never offerd to the compensation of the flat, we would be broke! However, that doesn't really happen! Thanks God!!

A rice cooker

I bought a rice cooker from a network seller. I've been seeking a rice cooker for a while, and finally I found the seller. He had used the rice cooker for one and helf years before he sold it to me. Today we met each other in Canary Wharf and exchange the good and money.

But I was shocked when I saw the rice cooker, because the cooker is very dirty! He had told me in advance that the cooker was not brand-new, he had been used it for more than one year, so it was a bit less shiny. Ok, I knew it. But I was still shocked about the cooker, it is not "a bit less shiny", it is DIRTY!!

After I arrived home, I spent about an hour to wash that cooker. I washed the surface of the cooker, the inner-pot, lid, and the big plastic spoon. However, the surface is too dirty to clean it all!! My arm was sore, so I decided to clean the rest tomorrow. You know, I spent £17 to buy the cooker, that is not cheap! And he should've cleaned it bofore he gave it to me.

Anyway, I need a rice cooker. And he is the only one had a 3-people-shared rice cooker. So I'll clean it then use it. That's it! *___*|||

My whole new blog!!!

I finally have my own English blog!!! I've been thinking of having an English blog to write my diary for a long time. I'm so glad that I have one now~ :D

This is my first diary, and I want to thank my boyfriend, who helped me to complete the settings. (hug) Then I want to invite my classmates with me. We all study hard and we hope to speak English fluently. When we chat to each other at school, we always say incorrect sentances during our talk.... That's really bad! I think we can improve our speaking through writing, if not, at least I can improve my writing.

I'll encourage myself to write as many as I could. :)
